My name is Kary Youman (he/him), I'm a mental health advocate and mindfulness practitioner based in the Pacific Northwest. As someone who's been in recovery from alcohol since 2011 and practicing meditation/mindfulness since 2008, I understand the struggles and joys of the journey.
That's why I created Sober Mind (a safe space to connect with yourself and like-minded humans in recovery) to share my experiences and offer support to those on the same path.
My aim is to help you cultivate simple routines and develop new habits that will support your recovery journey and help you live your best life.
Please note that while I'm not a licensed mental health therapist or a doctor, everything I share on this platform is based on my personal experiences and insights from others in the community.
I believe within the depths of my soul that together, we can support one another on this path to growth and healing.
If there's anything I can do to help support you on your journey please don't hesitate to get in touch. I admire your courage and look forward to getting to know you.
